He is associated with the Dept. of Philosophy as Asst. Professor at Sophia College from November 2011. He serves also as Deputy Director (Honorary) to CSSS-IPSCR, Mumbai and Visiting faculty to Dept. of Philosophy, Mumbai University teaching Continental Philosophy, Philosophy of Consciousness, Moral Philosophy (Western) and Contemporary Indian Philosophy at postgraduate levels, and Jainology and Vallabh Vedanta at Certificate- Diploma levels. He lectures on Foundation Course, Indian-Western Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, Living Ethical Issues and Philosophy of Yoga to B.A students of the college.

His PhD research is on “Transcendental Idealist Method in Kant and Shankara: A Comparison.” Other research works include “Kantian vision of Peace,” “Mystic traditions of the world” etc. Along with many articles published in journals and books on Religion, Theology and Philosophy, he is the author of The Divine- Human Communion, Heritage of Harmony and Gateway of Peace: A Sojourn through Religious Traditions. His special interests in philosophy are Epistemology, Comparative Philosophy, Cross-cultural Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion and Indian-Western Philosophy. What excites him most is teaching Philosophy, commitment to global peace, and writing poetry.

Dr. Paul Rozario

Dr. Paul Rozario did his Masters in Political Science and his M Phil in American Studies from the School of Social Sciences and School of International Studies - the Jawaharlal Nehru University , New Delhi . He got his PhD degree from the Department of Civics and Politics University of Mumbai. He was a recipient of the Ford Foundation Fellowship in International relations, at the University of Mumbai , he has also passed the prestigious UGC JRF / Lectureship National Entrance Test in 1993. In April 2006, he was the sole Indian representative in the International Visitor Leadership Programme, interactively touring the U.S. on the invitation of the U. S. Department of State. His areas of interest are International Relations , Foreign Policy, American Studies, International Organizations, International Trade and Economic Relations, Religion And Ethics

She is currently pursuing her research at the Department of Civics and Politics, University of Mumbai.Her M.Phil dissertation topic is “Agrarian Distress and Farmer Suicides in Vidarbha. She has also cleared the UGC National Eligibility Test. Her areas of interest are International Relations, Foreign Policy and Indian Studies.
